2016 Student Creative Arts and Research Symposium Materials Available

The TWU Planning Committee for the 2016 Student Creative Arts and Research Symposium is pleased to announce the availability of application materials for the symposium to be held on the Denton campus and virtually Tuesday, April 12, and Wednesday, April 13, 2016.  In order for a student to present at the Symposium, an abstract form must be submitted through the system. Abstracts will be accepted at any time until the deadline which is Monday, February 22, 2016. Abstracts will be processed within 30 days of receipt for acceptance to the Symposium, and session assignments will be made in March 2016. All abstract forms must be submitted online through the TWU SharePoint system. Instructions for submitting an abstract for presentation and the link to the SharePoint site can be found on the Symposium website.

Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to participate by submitting an abstract/artist statement for a poster, platform, or virtual presentation.  This is a wonderful opportunity to develop confidence and skills in presenting you creative arts and research to others.  It is also an opportunity for you to converse with faculty and fellow students about research and creative activities. Students may request oral, poster, or virtual presentation formats for their project.

More information regarding the Symposium and all application materials and forms can be found on the website at http://www.twu.edu/research/student-symposium.asp and additional information will be posted as it becomes available. We are looking forward to another fantastic year.
