AT&T Business Sales Leadership Development Program

Recruiters from AT&T will be on campus on November 12 to conduct an information session to provide information regarding their Business Sales Leadership Development Program. They will also be conducting campus interviews on November 13. See further details below. Interested students must be willing to relocate to the AT&T mobility headquarters in Atlanta, GA to attend paid training and willing to relocate within the  U.S. for future assignments.

Walgreens' Community Management Internship and Assistant Store Manager Trainee Campus Interviews

Recruiters and Store Managers from Walgreens will be on campus on November 6 to conduct campus interviews for their Summer Community Management Internship and Assistant Store Manager Trainee positions available nationwide.  Students interested in being considered for a campus interview should email a resume to swilliams@twu.edu by October 28 (include Walgreen’s campus interviews in the subject line) and apply online at www.walgreens.jobs.

Distance Students and Alumni, who are unable to travel to the Denton campus for an interview, may also apply and if positions are available in their area, arrangements will be made for interviews to be conducted at one of their local Walgreens’ stores.  See further details regarding the positions below.

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum GPA:  2.75
Classification:  Junior status
Schedule:  40 hours/week (May through August 2014)
Pay:  $14/hour

ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER TRAINEE REQUIREMENTS:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Bachelor’s degree at time of position start date
•    Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended day, evenings, and weekend hours

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Bachelor’s degree
•    Prior retail supervision experience

NOTE:  Walgreen’s representatives will also be on campus on October 23 at the Professional Career Expo between 12:00 – 3 p.m. in Hubbard Hall.  Interested students can also visit their table at the Expo for further details.

How to Prepare for a Career Day/Job Fair Seminar

Target Recruiters will conduct a seminar on “How to Prepare for a Career Day/Job Fair” on Wednesday, October 9 from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. in SU 113.  Students who participate in this seminar will learn what type of preparation is necessary before attending a Career Day as well as what to do during and after a Career Day.  Students interested in attending should call Career Services at 940-898-2950 to sign up.  Door Prizes will be awarded.
