Summer 1 Payment Deadlines

• Tuesday, May 8th – 6 p.m. - Phase I Payment Deadline for Summer 1. All non-paid registrations will be dropped. Students may re-register May 9-11 without incurring a late registration fee.   
•  Friday, May 11th –6 p.m. - Phase II Payment Deadline for Summer1. All non-paid registrations will be dropped.  Students may re-register during late registration and incur a late registration fee.
• Monday, May 14th – Tuesday, May 15th - Late Registration Period.
• Tuesday, May 15th – 6 p.m. - All registrations must be paid in full by this deadline.  If not, student will be dropped from the class roll.
• After Tuesday, May 15th - No re-instatements will be approved or made unless there is an error on the part of the University.

Education Career Day Next Friday

The joint TWU/UNT Education Career Day will be held next Friday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the UNT Denton Campus Coliseum.  Over 50 employers will be available to provide information regarding various types of  full time employment opportunities within education such as Occupational Therapists, School Counselors, Teachers, etc.

Remember to bring copies of your resume to distribute and that business professional attire is required. 

NOTE:  This event is only open to TWU & UNT students and alumni.

Golden Key National Honor Society Book Drive

Collection bins will be available in the TWU Denton Student Union – 2nd Floor, Chemistry Building, and the Art Building. Bins will also be available in the Dallas Campus Student Union through May 10, 2012.

Golden Key International Honour Society has partnered with Better World Books (www.BetterWorldBooks.com) to run a book drive that will benefit the literacy initiatives of Better World Books Drive and we would love to have your support! Donate your unwanted textbooks, children’s books, fiction, etc. (highlighting/writing in the books is fine).

Books collected by the TWU chapter of Golden Key Honour Society will be sold online through Better World Books to raise a sustainable stream of funding to support the Invisible Children organization. If the books cannot be donated or sold, they are recycled.

Listed below are details regarding additional seminars that will be hosted by Career Services during the month of April.  Door prizes will be awarded.  For each seminar attended, students will also have their name entered into a drawing for a grand prize worth $500.  The grand prize will be awarded at the April 26th Dress for Impress seminar (must be present to win).

Voertman's Juried Student Exhibition Reception

Please join us for the Annual Voertman's Juried Student Exhibition April 3 - April 12. A reception for the artists and awards ceremony will be Tuesday, April 3, 4 - 6 p.m. at the Department of Visual Arts, Fine Arts Building.
