Summer & Fall Early Registration Reminder & Information

This is a reminder that early registration for the Summer and Fall 2012 academic terms starts next week, Tuesday April 3rd, beginning with graduate students and special priority undergraduate groups.

Meningitis Vaccination Requirement:  New, transfer, and returning students under the age of 30 will need to provide meningitis immunization documentation prior to being allowed to register for courses.

• Students will be able to submit their immunization documentation directly to either the Office of the Registrar or the Office of Student Records for immediate processing. 
• Students wishing to utilize the distance education exemption will be allowed to register for courses that have been coded in the system as being 100% online (no face-to-face component), regardless of the student’s immunization status.  Students no longer have to complete a request form to utilize this exemption.

TWU Tuition Charts & Payment and Refund Schedules

The Summer and Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 tuition and fee charts are now available on the Bursar’s website. Also available are the Summer and Fall 2012 Registration Dates and Payment Deadlines and Refund Schedules. Be sure to check these out and don't let the payment deadlines pass without paying!

Dallas ISD Alternative Teacher Certification - Campus Interviews

Dallas ISD is looking for more candidates for their Alternative Teacher Certification program who are interested beginning a career as a professional educator. Representatives will be on campus to conduct interviews on Thursday, March 29. Certification areas include Bilingual, Math, Science, and Special Education. Interested students should call Career Services at 940-898-2950 to schedule an interview, should apply online at www.teachfordallas.com and bring a copy of their resume to the interview. Professional Career Expo - This Wednesday

The Career Services Office will host its spring Professional Career Expo this Wednesday, March 28 in Hubbard Hall from 12 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Employers will be on campus to provide information regarding internships and full-time employment opportunities. Some of the additional employers that have registered include Little MusicMaker, Heartland IT Consulting, Bright Horizons Family Solutions, Texas Campaign for the Environment, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Bring copies of your résumé to distribute and remember that business professional attire is required. A good student turnout will assist us with encouraging these employers to return to campus.

Edward Jones Campus Interviews

Representatives from Edward Jones will be on campus to conduct campus interviews on Wednesday, April 4 for their Coop program and PASS Financial Advisors program. These programs allow students to obtain one-on-one training, coaching, and mentoring.

Students interested in the Coop program may be able to obtain college credit if you meet certain eligibility requirements. The PASS Financial Advisors program is open to all majors and students interested in pursuing a career as a Financial Advisor.
