Welcome to TWU - Fall 2008

Welcome everyone, to TWU! Whether you are brand new or you've done the college thing before, The Office of Lifelong Learning would like to welcome you, and we hope you have a great semester! My name is Allison. I am the Coordinator of Distance Education Communications, and I post information to this blog that is just for you!

If you are reading this, you are probably a distance learner (you have enrolled in at least one course classified as "Internet"), and there are some important announcements and reminders that I need to share.

First, you can subscribe to this blog -
TWU Connection - so that you are notified anytime it is updated with new information. This blog is where we post information about campus events, policies and any changes in procedures that might affect you. To subscribe, simply enter your email address in the field on the right.

Second, the entire TWU website is undergoing a "face lift." The TWU homepage as well as many other units have already been updated with our new and beautiful look. The new Distance Education site is in the works, so please don't be alarmed when you visit our site and it has totally changed. All the information that is here now will be on the new one. Just explore the different sections to find what you are looking for, but if you have a hard time finding it, feel free to call (940.898.3411) or email us.
(DE@twu.edu).

Finally, please visit the Current Students section of the DE website. Here you will find information about things current students deal with - particularly parking! Please be sure to read that section.

That is all for now. We at Lifelong Learning hope you have a wonderful fall semester and that you do well in all your courses. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Happy Fall!
