Summer II Registration and Payment Deadlines

Ø Tuesday, July 7th – 5:00pm Phase I Payment Deadline for Summer II. All non-paid registrations will be dropped. Sudents may re-register July 8-10 without incurring a late registration fee.

Ø Friday, July 10th – 5:00pm Phase II Payment Deadline for Summer II. All non-paid registrations will be dropped. Students may re-register during late registration and incur a late registration fee.

Ø Monday, July 13th – Tuesday, July 14th Late Registration Period.

Ø Tuesday, July 14th – 5:00pm All registrations must be paid in full by this deadline. If not, student will be dropped from the class roll.

Ø After Tuesday, July 14th – No re-instatements will be approved or made unless there is an error on the part of the University.

Payment requirements for Summer I and III

Tuesday, June 2 / 5 p.m. - Payment Deadline for Students who registered April 1 - June 2 for Summer I and Summer III Semesters. All non-paid registrations will be dropped. Students may re-register June 3 - 5 without incurring a late registration fee.

Friday, June 5 / 5 p.m. - Payment Deadline for Students who registered June 3- 5 for Summer I and Summer III Semesters. All non-paid registrations will be dropped. Students may re-register during late registration and incur a late registration fee.

Denton Spring Commencement Ceremonies

Parking and Bus Information

From the Office of Commuter & Non-Traditional Student Services

Due to construction at the Dallas Parkland campus, additional parking is available on Forest Park (between Inwood and Mockingbird). A map of the Forest Park lot can be found online at http://www.twu.edu/images/commuter/Remote_Parkland_parking_map.pdf. A parking decal is required to park in the lot and a free shuttle runs approximately every 15 minutes between the lot and TWU, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) is offering FREE bus passes the entire month of May to TWU students and staff. Simply present your TWU ID at the Student Union office (SU 209) and receive your Pioneer Ozone Pass for free ($85 value). May is the start of the ozone season and DCTA is encouraging drivers to consider public transportation.

Spring 2009 Senior Breakfast

To All May and August 2009 Graduates:

Congratulations on achieving a milestone in your life as a member of the Graduating Class of 2009! To welcome you to the elite group of women and men, who have also achieved this milestone at TWU, you are hereby invited to attend the 2009 Spring Senior Breakfast honoring all May and August graduates.

This long time TWU tradition will be held Friday, May 8, 2009 from 8:00-9:30am, in the Southeast Dining Room of Hubbard Hall. The celebratory program will include breakfast, entertainment and the presentation of a special gift to honor your success. Dress for the event will be business attire.

As you are an honored guest, this event will be complimentary for you. However, we understand that sharing our greatest accomplishments with our loved ones is of utmost importance. In an effort to making this a memorable event for you, the graduate, we invite you to bring up to two guests at the cost of $12.00 per person. Please remind your guests that additional visitor parking is located behind the library, with the entrance on Oakland Street.

To reserve your special place at the Senior Breakfast, please complete the reservation form and return it to the address noted on the form. The reservation deadline to attend Senior Breakfast is Friday, April 24, 2009.

A few years ago, the Senior Breakfast Committee created a new tradition where the senior class selected their Favorite Faculty/Staff Members. We would like to encourage you to continue this tradition by nominating an individual who has inspired or motivated you to become successful in your achievements at TWU. The individuals who receive the most nominations will be recognized at the breakfast.
