Research Symposium Submission Deadline Extended

Due to Denton and Dallas campus closing and delay due to inclement weather, the deadline to submit abstracts for presentation at the Student Creative Arts & Research Symposium has been extended to Friday, February 28, 2015.

The 2015 Student Creative Arts and Research Symposium will be held on the Denton campus and virtually on Tuesday, April 14, and Wednesday, April 15, 2015.  In order for a student to present at the Symposium, an abstract form must be submitted by the due date. Instructions for submitting an abstract for presentation can be found at the Symposium website. Undergraduate and graduate students can participate by submitting an abstract/artist statement for a poster, platform, or virtual presentation.  This is a wonderful opportunity for students  to develop confidence and skills in presenting their creative arts and research to others.  It is also an opportunity for students to converse with faculty and fellow students about research and creative activities. Students may request oral, poster, or virtual presentation formats for their project.

More information regarding the Symposium and all application materials and forms can be found on the website at www.twu.edu/research/student-symposium.asp. The posted deadlines on the website will be updated as soon as possible.
